Digistore24 Refund Denied: What Are Your Options?

A denial is not always the end. Find out which rule was applied, what to send back, when the vendor can refund anyway and why a chargeback comes last.

Digistore24 Refund Denied: What Are Your Options?

What can you do if Digistore24 denied your refund?

First find out which rule they applied. Then reply with the facts that rule depends on, ask the vendor directly if the window has passed, and treat a card dispute as the last step.

We are not Digistore24 and we cannot overturn a decision. Worthorpass audits the sales page and the order form of each offer, and we never bought or used any product. What follows is built from Digistore24's own help pages (listed under sources, loaded as of October 2026) and from the refund terms recorded in our reviews. It is not legal advice.

Our refund guide covers the normal request. This article starts after the answer was no.

Why does Digistore24 deny a refund request?

The help center points to a handful of reasons: the return period had ended, the request read as a cancellation, the right of withdrawal had expired, or the service or shipment fell outside the rules.

Read the denial email and match it to one of these. Each is a condition Digistore24 describes in its own words.

Reasons Digistore24 describes

  • The return period is over. It begins with your first payment and lasts at most 180 days. After a free trial it starts when the real payment is taken.
  • The request did not say refund. Digistore24 treats a message that does not explicitly ask for money back as a cancellation, which stops future payments only.
  • The right of withdrawal expired for a digital product. This can happen if you ticked the checkbox on the order form and an active download link was sent.
  • A service was fully provided. Then the right of withdrawal has expired, according to its support process.
  • A shipped product was received and the return period since receipt has run out.
  • The product has a 0-day return policy and the vendor met its contractual obligations; buyers must agree to this before buying.
  • You bought as a business. Digistore24 says commercial buyers generally have no right of return.

How do you work out which rule applied to you?

Check the date of your first payment, the refund window on your order form, any withdrawal checkbox you ticked and what you received. Those four facts decide most cases.

Four checks

  1. Date of the first payment, not the date you opened the product.
  2. The refund window on the order form. Our reviews record it, for example 60 days on Instant AI Agency.
  3. Whether you ticked a checkbox about your right of withdrawal expiring.
  4. What you actually received: access data, a working download link, a parcel, or nothing.

Write each one down before you reply. If your order form is gone, the order confirmation email has the details and the order ID.

How long are refund windows in practice?

Mostly 60 days. In our reviews 1,342 of 1,585 recorded windows are 60 days, and the short ones are rare but real: 20 offers show 14 days and 3 show 0 days on the form.

Offers mentioned in this section
ProductCategoryOffer scorePriceBillingVerdict
Weight Loss Program (Pagewheel download) Health & Fitness 2.9/10 EUR 11.00 One-time payment of EUR 11 Pass
UX/UI Courses (Digital Download) Software & Tech 3.3/10 $37 One-time payment Pass
Secret Billionaire Frequency Spirituality 3.6/10 $39 One-time payment Pass
Magnesium Breakthrough Health & Fitness 5.4/10 $47.75 One-time payment, 1 to 5 bottles Worth a look
Universe Masterkey Spirituality 3.3/10 $39 One-time payment Pass

Other lengths we recorded as of October 2026: 365 days on 94 offers, 90 on 42, 180 on 40 and 30 on 35. Of the 20 offers at 14 days, 11 are a Pass. One of the 0-day cases is Magnesium Breakthrough, where the order form shows 0 days while a related page states 365.

Sometimes the page promises more than the form grants. Weight Loss Program (Pagewheel download) is a EUR 11 download whose page claims 60 days and whose form allows 14. UX/UI Courses shows the same gap. Secret Billionaire Frequency has 60 days on the form against a 365-day claim on the page. In at least 25 of our reviews the page or seller states a longer window than the form. Our guide on guarantees on the page versus the form explains which one to plan around.

What if the product was not what the page promised?

Digistore24's support process says a product that was not received, was the wrong one or does not match its description counts as service not provided, and it issues a full refund in those cases.

The same page says missing promised parts or unmentioned requirements count as not provided in full, with a partial refund decided case by case. If a download link did not work, the help center says your right of revocation stays unaffected when access fails for reasons beyond your control.

Some listings in our catalog make this hard to judge. Custom Microbiome-Based Supplement Formula shows a supplement on the order form while the page says digital download, nothing shipped. Sales Page and Promotion is named like a service but delivers checklists and worksheets, and Universe Masterkey describes its format nowhere. We never bought them, and whether any would qualify is Digistore24's call. Keep screenshots of what the page said. Our guide on getting access after you pay covers delivery problems.

What should you send in your reply?

Reply in the same thread with your order ID, the dates, the exact rule you think applies and your evidence. Say the word refund, and ask which rule was used if the email does not say.

Keep it short and factual. A message like this works as a template:

Include

  • Order ID and the email address you used to buy.
  • Date of first payment and the refund window shown on the order form.
  • A clear sentence: I am requesting a full refund of this order.
  • Evidence: dated screenshots of the page guarantee, the order form and any error message.
  • A question: which rule was applied, and what proof is it based on?

What are your options if the answer is still no?

Ask the vendor directly, since vendors can refund outside the period or offer a partial refund. If that fails, your card issuer or PayPal is the backstop, and it comes last.

Digistore24 says a vendor can accept a return or start a refund on their own, even outside the return period, and can give partial refunds. That is permission, not an obligation, so write politely and attach your evidence. If an instalment or subscription is still running, cancel it first with our cancellation guide so nothing new is charged.

A dispute with your bank or PayPal is separate and slower, and time limits and rules vary by provider, so check yours before you start. Digistore24 says its refunds can take up to 10 business days partly to guard against double payment through a chargeback. Do not run both at once. Chargeback or refund? explains the order. For an offer on ClickBank, such as Profit Maximiser Matched Betting, follow the process on its confirmation email; we did not load ClickBank's rules for this article.

What should you do today?

Save your evidence, send one clear reply, contact the vendor and note every deadline. If money is still owed after that, speak to your card issuer.

Spend ten minutes on the steps below. Our methodology page explains how we score refund terms when you compare offers later.

Checklist

  • Save the denial email, the order confirmation and the page guarantee.
  • Write down the first-payment date and the window.
  • Reply once with the evidence and the word refund.
  • Email the vendor with the same facts.
  • Cancel any recurring charge.
  • Only then ask your card issuer or PayPal, and check their time limits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a refund after the return period?

Digistore24's help center says a return is technically no longer possible once the period has expired. A vendor may still refund on their own, even outside the period, so ask them directly.

Why did Digistore24 cancel my order instead of refunding it?

Its support process treats a request that does not explicitly state you want your money back as a cancellation. Send a new message that says you want a refund and give the order ID.

Can I return a digital product after downloading it?

Possibly not. Digistore24 says the right of withdrawal can expire once you receive an active download link, if you ticked the checkbox on the order form. If access fails for reasons beyond your control, it says the right stays unaffected.

Does the vendor have to refund me if Digistore24 refuses?

No. Digistore24 says vendors can refund on their own and can give partial refunds, but it describes this as an option. A polite message with evidence is the right approach.

Should I file a chargeback after a refusal?

Only as a last step, and not while a refund request is still open. Check your provider's rules and deadlines first, and keep your emails, screenshots and order confirmation.
