How Do Payment Plans and Installments Work on Digistore24?

What is a payment plan or installment on Digistore24?

A payment plan splits one price into a fixed number of payments. A subscription also repeats, but it keeps going until you cancel.

Digistore24's help center treats installment and subscription as two billing types. That distinction is the one that matters to a buyer: an installment ends after the last payment, a subscription does not. Our guide to subscriptions that look like one-time purchases covers the second kind.

In our catalog most offers are plain one-time payments. We recorded a multi-payment plan in only six of 1920 reviews as of October 2026, found by searching billing lines, price notes, specs and verdicts. Two of the six are sold on Digistore24 (the piercing course and 7 Figure Mastery) and four on the ClickBank checkout, which our catalog also covers. The rules below that we attribute to Digistore24 apply to Digistore24 orders only. The real number may be slightly higher if a review never mentioned a plan, so read the order form every time.

Does paying in installments cost more?

Often, yes. Remixable costs $475 once but $550 or $582 on its plans, and the piercing course costs $660.23 once but $725.22 or $784.08 split.

We added up each plan ourselves. Remixable charges $475 once for the Unlimited Founder Edition. Its plans are $275 now and $275 after 30 days ($550, which is $75 or 15.8% more), or $97 now and five more monthly payments ($582, which is $107 or 22.5% more).

The piercing course charges $660.23 once. The same form offers 6 payments of $120.87 ($725.22, $64.99 or 9.8% more) or 12 of $65.34 ($784.08, $123.85 or 18.8% more). The dollar figures are converted from euros, so they move with the exchange rate.

The extra cost is the price of spreading the risk, not a bargain. If you can pay once, compare the total before you pick the smaller monthly figure.

Is a plan ever the same price as paying once?

Yes. The Zoe Method coaching program costs $2,397 once or 3 payments of $799, and both add up to $2,397.

The Zoe Method shows the fair version: the order form splits the same amount into three monthly payments of $799, starting with $799 today. There is no markup. Its weak points are elsewhere, including a $2,397 price, a 60-day window on the form against 30 days on the page, and a refund policy that can deduct coaching already delivered.

For big purchases the clock matters. On Digistore24 the refund window starts at the first payment, so by the time you have paid the third installment the window may be nearly over. What does a $0 total with later payments mean?

It means the price is hidden in the plan. 7 Figure Mastery shows $0.00 on the form, then six monthly payments of $24.99, a real cost of $149.94.

7 Figure Mastery is a Pass at 4.4. The headline total is $0.00, but a temporary subscription follows with six monthly payments of $24.99 from the following week. We scored pricing honesty 2.0 because a $149.94 cost is presented as free.

A smaller version is the 900 Seductive Texts split link: $1 today, then one payment of about $14 roughly 10 days later, close to the $14.95 one-time price. What if the page mentions a plan the form does not show?

Treat the form as the offer. The AI Made Simple program is a $134 one-time payment on the form, though the vendor's listing mentions a 10 x $28 plan.

The AI Made Simple form is labeled One Payment No Renewal. The page also carries leftover text about 10 payments. Ten payments of $28 would be $280, more than twice the $134 you pay once, so if a seller ever offers that, you would want it in writing.

The Trauma Root Recovery Program is the mirror case: the page frames $3,333 as about $64 a week over 12 months, yet the form shows a single payment and no installment plan. Check the order form against the page, as our guide on sales page versus order form prices explains.

What happens if an installment payment fails?

Digistore24 retries the debit up to three times within three days, then emails the buyer a link to pay. If the payment is never made, the plan ends.

According to the Digistore24 help center, the system tries to process the debit on the due date and, if that fails, retries up to three times within three days. The buyer gets an email about two to three days after the last attempt, with a link to pay. The installment continues once the amount is paid.

Access can be blocked after repeated failures for content delivered through a members area. Downloads and PDFs already in your possession cannot be blocked. What should you do before choosing a payment plan?

Add up every payment, compare it with the one-time price, and note the dates. Cancel a subscription-style plan before the next payment if you want out.
