Subscriptions That Look Like One-Time Purchases
Most Digistore24 products are sold once. The few that renew are where buyers get surprised, usually because the page never used the word subscription.
How common are recurring charges?
Uncommon, which is exactly why they catch people off guard.
The large majority of the 680 offers we have reviewed charge once. That makes buyers used to one price, one charge. A recurring line then slips through because nobody expects it.
Recurring billing is legitimate for software, memberships and signal services. The problem is only when the page describes a product while the form sets up a plan.
1. What does the payment line actually say?
Read the small text under the price on the order form. That is where Digistore24 states intervals.
TradBook Pro charges $26 and $26 every month after, stated in small print. Food Analysis Tool charges $87 now and $87 every year after, written beside the price. Both are disclosed, but only on the form.
If you see a phrase like every month, starting from a date, or cancellable monthly, you are buying a plan.
2. Is a physical product billed like a membership?
A supplement named as one bottle that renews monthly is the clearest mismatch.
Yara Hair Growth Vitamins lists one bottle for $37, with a footnote stating monthly payments of $37. Stealth Attraction Secret shows today's price of $69.95 as if it were a single payment, while the plan repeats monthly.
Physical products on auto-ship are legal, but the product line should say so. When it says one bottle, expect one charge, and check whether that is true.
3. Does it start at $0 or $1?
A free or nearly free first payment usually hides the real cost in the following payments.
7-Figure Mastery shows a total of $0.00 at checkout, followed by six monthly payments of $24.99, $149.94 in all. Modern Relationships for Women adds a $7.95 monthly membership to the cart by default, so the $69.03 charged today already includes the first month and the billing continues after it.

4. Does a yearly plan renew itself?
Many do. The minimum term and the renewal rule are printed on the form.
ExpertSlides offers $228 a year with a one-year minimum that renews unless cancelled, or $29 a month cancellable monthly. That is fair when stated, but easy to forget twelve months later.
Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you buy.
5. How do you stop it?
Through Digistore24, using the order ID in your confirmation email.
Our cancellation guide explains the steps. Installment plans are a special case: they are one purchase paid in parts and do not stop when you cancel.
A request that does not contain the word refund is treated as a cancellation of future payments, not as a refund of past ones. If you want money back, say so.
A 30-second check before paying
Read the total, the line under it and the date of the next charge. Those three facts decide whether you are buying once or signing up.
First, find the total due today. Second, read the small print directly under the price for words like every, monthly, yearly or installment. Third, look for a start date for a later payment. If any of the three suggests repetition, work out the cost over a full year before deciding.
A $26 monthly tool costs $312 in its first year. A $37 bottle on monthly billing costs $444. Framed that way, several offers that look like impulse buys become decisions worth a second look.
