Has Worthorpass used the products it reviews?
Not unless the review says so. These are offer reviews: we read the vendor's sales page, open the Digistore24 order form and record the real price, billing model, delivery method and refund terms. Every review carries a How we assessed this box stating exactly what we checked and on what date.
How does the offer score work?
Four criteria out of 10 each: offer clarity, value for money, refund terms and vendor transparency. The published score is their average, and all four sub-scores appear on the review page so you can weigh them yourself.
Why is the price on your review different from the sales page?
Because sales pages advertise and checkouts charge. We publish the figure shown on the Digistore24 order form, including the currency and any recurring line, and we flag the difference whenever the advertised price does not match.
What is Digistore24?
A marketplace and payment processor for digital products such as courses, ebooks, memberships and software. It acts as the seller of record, which means it takes the payment, delivers the product and handles refunds on the vendor's behalf.
How do I get a refund on something I bought?
Through Digistore24, not through us and usually not through the vendor. The order confirmation email Digistore24 sends after purchase contains the link you need, so keep it. Each review lists the refund window the vendor advertised on the day we checked.
Do you earn a commission if I buy?
Yes, on most links. Digistore24 pays us a share of the sale and your price is unchanged. The commission is agreed before we score anything and has never changed a score.
Why do you publish reviews of products you would not buy?
Because those are the useful ones. A site that only lists winners is a catalog. When we would skip something, the review says so at the top and explains why, and the product stays on the site with its low score.
Are the review scores comparable across categories?
Yes. The same four criteria are applied everywhere, so an 8 in Pets means the same thing as an 8 in Trading. What changes between categories is the typical price, not the standard.
Can a vendor pay to be featured or to have a review removed?
No. We do not sell placements, rankings, badges or removals. If a vendor offers, the offer itself goes into the review.
Is anything on this site financial advice?
No. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or medical advice. Trading foreign exchange, cryptocurrency and stocks carries a high risk of losing money, and most retail accounts lose. Speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read.
How often are prices rechecked?
Whenever we revisit a product, and at minimum when a reader tells us a price has moved. Every review page carries the date it was last verified, so you can see how fresh the figure is.
