Questions and answers
What does the name Worthorpass mean?
It is the call we make at the end of every review: an offer is either worth your money, or a pass. Worthorpass, read as worth or pass, publishes both verdicts, which is why the lowest scoring offers stay on the site with their reasons attached instead of quietly disappearing.
Who writes the reviews?
Worthorpass is an independent project run by the Worthorpass editorial team, which is responsible for the method, for the pricing findings recorded for each offer and for every verdict published here. No vendor is involved in writing or approving a review, and no placement is paid for. The methodology page describes the method, and the contact page is how to reach us.
Do you test the products?
No. Every page on this site is an offer review. We read the vendor's sales page and the Digistore24 or ClickBank order form and score what they say, charge and promise: price, billing model, delivery, refund terms, who the seller is and whether the claims can be checked. We do not buy, use or test the product, and no review claims otherwise. Each review says so in its How we assessed this box, which states exactly what we checked and on what date.
How does the offer score work?
Seven criteria out of 10 each: offer clarity, value for money, pricing honesty, delivery and access, refund terms, vendor transparency and claim discipline. The published score is their average, and all seven sub-scores appear on the review page so you can weigh them yourself. Four floors sit on top of the average. An offer with offer clarity of 4 or lower is marked Pass. An offer with claim discipline of 3 or lower is marked Pass. An offer with offer clarity of 5.5 or lower cannot be marked Worth it, and Worth it also requires at least 5 on both offer clarity and vendor transparency. A clean checkout and a fast download are not enough to earn a recommendation on their own.
Why is the price on your review different from the sales page?
Because sales pages advertise and checkouts charge. We publish the figure shown on the Digistore24 or ClickBank order form, including the currency and any recurring line, and we flag the difference whenever the advertised price does not match.
What is Digistore24?
A marketplace and payment processor for digital products such as courses, ebooks, memberships and software. It acts as the seller of record, which means it takes the payment, delivers the product and handles refunds on the vendor's behalf.
Is Digistore24 legit?
Yes. Digistore24 is an established reseller that takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles refunds and support. Being sold through Digistore24 says nothing about the quality of a product, though. The platform says every product goes through an approval process that checks legal requirements and whether key purchase information is shown; it does not judge whether an offer is worth the money. Why is there a DS24 charge on my card?
Because Digistore24 is the seller of record, the charge comes from Digistore24 (often searched as DS24, after its checkout domain checkout-ds24.com) and not from the vendor whose page you bought on. The help pages we have read do not publish the exact statement text, so match the amount and the date to the order confirmation email, which carries the order ID. How do I get a refund on something I bought?
Through Digistore24, not through us and usually not through the vendor. The order confirmation email Digistore24 sends after purchase contains the link you need, so keep it. Each review lists the refund window the vendor advertised on the day we checked.
How do I cancel a Digistore24 subscription?
Through Digistore24. Private customers can usually cancel online with the order ID and the email address or last name used at checkout, either from the customer portal or from the cancel page linked in the confirmation email. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not return money already paid, which is a separate refund request. The step-by-step guide also covers the cases where no cancel button appears.
Do you earn a commission if I buy?
Yes, on most links. The marketplace (Digistore24 or ClickBank) pays us a share of the sale, and clicking our link adds nothing to your price: the order form total is what you pay. The commission is agreed before we score anything and has never changed a score.
Why do you publish reviews of products you would not buy?
Because those are the useful ones. A site that only lists winners is a catalog. When we would skip something, the review says so at the top and explains why, and the product stays on the site with its low score.
Are the review scores comparable across categories?
Yes. The same seven criteria are applied everywhere, so an 8 in Pets means the same thing as an 8 in Trading. One criterion, claim discipline, does start from a different baseline by category: a promise that can be checked, like a stated number of recipes or video lessons, starts higher than a promise about an outcome nobody can measure. What never changes is the standard for the other six.
Can a vendor pay to be featured or to have a review removed?
No. We do not sell placements, rankings, badges or removals. If a vendor offers, the offer itself goes into the review.
Is anything on this site financial advice?
No. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or medical advice. Trading foreign exchange, cryptocurrency and stocks carries a high risk of losing money. Speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read.
How often are prices rechecked?
Whenever we revisit a product, and at minimum when a reader tells us a price has moved. Every review page carries the date it was last verified, so you can see how fresh the figure is.
