Tarot and Astrology Reading Offers: What to Check Before You Pay
We audited 20 tarot, astrology and personal reading offers. Only two are rated yes, and three turn into monthly charges. What to check first.
What should I check before paying for a tarot or astrology reading?
Check what the reading is, who delivers it, whether the price on the page matches the order form, whether the first payment becomes a subscription, and which refund window the order form shows.

We looked at 20 offers in our spirituality category whose names cover tarot, astrology, birth charts or personal readings, as of October 2026. Their median price is $23.48, from $0.99 to $65. Only two are rated yes. Your 2027 Fire Goat Reading scores 7.5 and Viking Soulmate Sketch scores 6.6.
None of our reviews is an oracle-deck course, so this guide covers tarot, astrology and reading offers. We also reviewed one course for people who want to read tarot professionally, covered below. We audit the sales page and order form only and make no claim about whether a reading is accurate.
Here are six of them side by side.
Is it clear what you actually receive?
Often not. The best of the group state a length and a format; the weakest never say how the reading is delivered. Offer clarity averages 5.20 for the 20, against 5.54 across the catalog.
The Lunar Almanac is the clear case: a personalized PDF of 30 or more pages built from birth animal, element and hour, delivered on a private page within minutes. Our review gives it 8.0 on clarity.
At the other end, Personalized Prosperity DNA Reading scores 3.0. The page advertises a free live reading, and the paid reading and its bonuses are named only on the order form. It is rated no, and the review notes the page's only inputs are date and time fields despite the DNA and NASA wording.
A Star Path Reading funnel follows the same shape: a free personalized reading, then a $14.44 charge at checkout. Our guide to free offers with a fee explains how to spot it.
Does the first price turn into a monthly charge?
In three of the 20 offers, yes. A $0.99 trial, a $15.99 pendant order and a $7 first payment each lead to monthly billing of $37, $19.97 and $17.
The Biorhythm charges $0.99 for a three-day trial and then $37 a month until cancelled. Its order form shows a 0-day refund window on that plan, while the page shows a 365-day guarantee banner. It scores 4.4.
Wheel of Fortune Tarot Pendant charges $15.99 now and then $19.97 a month for a membership after a 7-day free trial. Angelic Tarot Guidance charges $7 now and $17 every month, and its review notes the page text does not mention the recurring charge. Both are rated no.
The other 17 are one-time payments. Before paying, read the form for any line mentioning next payment or per month. Our guides to subscriptions that look like one-time purchases and free trials and delayed billing cover the wording.
Is the price shown honestly?
Pricing honesty averages 5.83 for these 20, against 7.35 for the catalog, because several pages show no price, or a discount with no starting price.
Personal Power Reading Mini Movie charges the $37 shown on its page, matching the form, but the crossed-out $67 has no stated basis. Star Path Reading and Prosperity DNA both describe a 70 percent discount off an unstated full price.
Twin Flame Tarot Sketch and Reading shows no price on the sales page at all, only a questionnaire; the order form then charges $19.95. A fair offer shows the price before you hand over birth data. Zodiac Twin Flame Tarot Ritual is better: $27 on the page and the form, with named ebook titles, scored 6.1.
For the habit of comparing both figures, see how to read an order form.
Which claims are a warning sign?
Promises of wealth, fixed outcomes or science-sounding proof. Claim discipline averages 3.80 for these 20 against 4.69 across the catalog, and 10 of the 20 score 3 or lower.
The strongest offers state the limits. The Lunar Almanac says its readings are for insight, self-reflection and entertainment and predict no event. Viking Soulmate Sketch labels itself a novelty and entertainment product in its terms and says it does not predict a romantic future.
Star Path Reading promises wealth and success without qualification, and Prosperity DNA cites NASA planetary data with no evidence. The Biorhythm features a customer story crediting a reading with picking a casino day that won $16,000, while its own terms admit the readings are for entertainment only.
Our guide to personalized readings and reports goes through the wording in more detail. Nothing here is advice on health, money or relationships; for those decisions, speak to a doctor or licensed adviser.
What about a course on becoming a tarot reader?
Treat the income claims as claims. Six-Figure Tarot costs $27, scores 5.4 and is rated caution, because the page shows daily income figures that differ between versions and no lesson list.
Six-Figure Tarot charges $27 once with a 60-day refund window on the order form. Its pros include a full earnings disclaimer. Its cons are a missing lesson list, course length and format, plus no company, address or contact channel. It sits in our make-money category, so the check is the one we use for earnings claims: see income screenshots and earnings claims.
Which refund window applies?
The one on the order form, but check whether the seller's own terms say something shorter. Several reading offers show two different windows.
Viking Soulmate Sketch shows 60 days on its order form while the seller's own policy states 7 days for unhappy results. Twin Flame Tarot Sketch has a 60-day form window and a seller term of 30 days, for sketches only. Star Path Reading shows 365 days on the form against 60 days in the seller's terms.
Refund terms are rarely the weak point here, which is good news: 14 of the 20 score 8 or higher on that subscore. The risk is the mismatch. Our guide to money-back guarantee, page vs order form explains which one to rely on, and our methodology lists how we score it.
What should I do before ordering a reading?
Run the six checks below in about five minutes. If two or more fail, skip the offer.
Six checks
- Does the page say what the reading is, how long, and how it is delivered?
- Is the price visible before you enter personal details, and does it match the order form?
- Is there any monthly line on the order form (next payment, per month)?
- Does the page call the reading entertainment or insight, or does it promise outcomes?
- Is a company or person named, with an address or contact?
- Does the refund window on the form match the seller's terms?
A reading you enjoy is a fair thing to buy. The point is to know what you are buying.
