Free Trials and Delayed Billing: Mark the Date
A free trial is a subscription with a delayed first payment. The order form says when billing starts; your calendar should say it too.
How does a trial appear on the order form?
As a total of $0 today, followed by a line stating when billing starts and how much.
Digistore24 order forms show both parts of a trial: what you pay now and what you pay from a stated date. The second line is often in smaller type than the first. That is where the real cost of the product is.
Trials are fair when that second line is clear. They become a problem when the sales page talks only about the free part.
1. When does billing start?
On a fixed date, stated on the form. Write it down.
SpryFuel charges $0 until 1 October 2026 and then $29 a month, cancellable monthly; the billing is clear and the company, a Swiss GmbH, gives a phone number. ExpertSlides starts billing on 2 October 2026 at $228 a year or $29 a month.
Both are honest about the dates. The risk is simply forgetting them.
2. Is it a trial or an installment plan?
An installment plan also starts at $0 or a small amount, but you have already bought the whole product.
7-Figure Mastery shows $0.00 at checkout, followed by six monthly payments of $24.99, $149.94 in all. That is not a trial you can end; it is one purchase paid in parts.
Read whether the form says cancellable. If it lists a fixed number of payments, you owe all of them.
3. Is the first month free or just cheap?
Some offers call the first month free when it is included in today's charge.
Modern Relationships for Women adds a $7.95 monthly membership to the cart by default; today's $69.03 already includes the first month, and billing continues after it.

4. Does the trial come with big claims?
A free week makes bold claims feel risk-free. They are not more credible for it.
SpryFuel presents frequency music as therapy for specific diseases and mental illness and says the need for sleep decreases. The trial lowers the cost of finding out, but it does not make the claims true, and it is rated Pass.
Judge the product as if you were paying from day one.
5. How do you cancel before the date?
Through Digistore24 with your order ID, a few days before billing starts.

Keep the confirmation email. It contains the order ID and the trial terms you agreed to.
