American Power vs Multipolar World vs Global Power: Which Series?

Three multi-volume ebook series at EUR 12.99 a volume, compared on topic, score and seller, and what the full set would cost.

American Power vs Multipolar World vs Global Power: Which Series?

Which geopolitics series should you start with?

Pick by topic, not by score. Volume I of each series costs EUR 12.99, and the three score 7.0, 7.0 and 6.9, all Worth a look.

The Rise of the Multipolar World, Volume I: From Postwar Primacy to the End of the Unipolar Moment Politics & Economics 7.0/10 EUR 12.99 One-time payment Worth a look

The three series are The Architecture of American Power, The Rise of the Multipolar World and The New Architecture of Global Power. Each is sold volume by volume on a Digistore24 order form, and each volume we reviewed carries the same price, the same 60-day refund window and nearly the same score.

Because the offers match so closely, the useful question is which subject you want to read about. The first volume of each series is a low-cost way to find out, and the order form is the only page you see before paying.

What does Volume I of each series cover?

The American Power series starts with US institutions, the Multipolar series with postwar primacy, and the Global Power series with the dollar, sanctions and sovereign debt.

These descriptions come from the order forms and our reviews, not from reading the books. We rate the offer, and we have not bought or read any of these volumes.

Volume I in each series

How many volumes are there, and what would the whole set cost?

We reviewed 17 volumes: six on American Power, six on the Multipolar World and five on Global Power. At EUR 12.99 each, the 17 together cost EUR 220.83.

This is the trap in the buying path. Each order form sells one volume, not the series. A reader who likes Volume I and then buys the next five of one series spends EUR 77.94 for six volumes. The Global Power series, with five volumes reviewed, comes to EUR 64.95.

The Digistore24 order forms we checked on 28 September 2026 sell one volume each; we found no series bundle among them. Check your own order form before paying, since sellers can add one. Our guide to reading an order form shows what to look at.

Cost at EUR 12.99 per volume (as of October 2026)

  • Architecture of American Power: 6 volumes, EUR 77.94
  • Rise of the Multipolar World: 6 volumes, EUR 77.94
  • New Architecture of Global Power: 5 volumes, EUR 64.95
  • All three series: 17 volumes, EUR 220.83

Who is selling these ebooks?

All 17 volumes come from one Digistore24 account. The order forms credit seven different author names, with no biography, sales page or legal notice.

The credits are Lucian R. Varen on seven volumes, Elliot C. Harlan on five, and five more names on one volume each. For example, Volume VI of the American Power series is credited to Lucian R. Varen, while Volume II of the Multipolar series is credited to Elliot C. Harlan.

That is why vendor transparency is only 3.5 or 3 across the 17 volumes. You cannot judge an author's expertise from the form. Our guide to offers without a sales page explains why that matters.

Why are they Worth a look and not Worth it?

Because Worth it needs a clear seller, and these offers score under 5 on vendor transparency. Their other criteria are good, which is why the totals are about 7.

The three Volume I offers score 7.5, 7.5 and 7 on offer clarity, and 8 on delivery and refund terms. The weak criterion is the seller. Under our methodology, a vendor transparency below 5 keeps an offer from being Worth it, and our guide on what our verdicts mean explains the rule.

On claim discipline they score 7.5. The descriptions state a non-partisan aim for the American Power volume, an argument that primacy may persist inside a more multipolar system for the Multipolar volume, and a refusal to predict collapse for the Global Power volume. These are what the order forms say, not our view of whether the arguments hold up.

How do they compare with a pricier title in the same category?

Much better value. Thriving in Turbulent Times costs $69.99, names no author or length, and is a Pass at 5.9.

It sits in the same Politics and Economics category, and it shows the other side of the verdict logic. Its refund window is 60 days and delivery is instant, yet its offer clarity of 3.5 triggers the floor.

The series volumes do not state a length either, but Volume I of each lists its chapters in detail, and they cost EUR 12.99 rather than $69.99. A cheap, well-described, unnamed-seller offer lands at Worth a look. An expensive, vague one lands at Pass.

What about the currency and the refund window?

Each form charges EUR 12.99 in euros, also for US buyers, with a 0% tax line and a 60-day refund window.

Your card issuer converts the amount, so the dollar cost depends on your bank. The 60-day window is stated on the order form, and the steps to use it are in our Digistore24 refund guide. Keep your order confirmation either way.

What should you do before buying?

Choose one subject, buy only Volume I, and decide on the next volume after reading it. Never assume an order form sells a set.

Before you pay

  1. Pick the topic that matches your question: US institutions, postwar primacy or dollar power.
  2. Open the order form and check that it says Volume I and EUR 12.99 once.
  3. Note that no page count, sample or author biography is shown, and decide if that is acceptable.
  4. Keep the confirmation email and the 60-day refund date.
  5. Buy the next volume only after finishing the first.

A simple plan keeps the spending small.
