Buyer basics
Digistore24 vs ClickBank: What Is Different for Buyers?
Both platforms resell the product and handle your refund, but the catalogs differ: 32% of Digistore24 offers are a Pass in our data, against 47% on ClickBank.
What is the difference between Digistore24 and ClickBank for buyers?
Both are resellers with their own order forms and refund tools. For buyers the real differences are where you file a refund, how long the window usually is and what kinds of offers each platform carries.
Digistore24 describes itself as a full-service online sales platform and says you are buying from Digistore24, not directly from the vendor or affiliate. ClickBank describes itself as an e-commerce platform and affiliate network, and your card statement shows a CLKBANK charge instead of the brand name.
This article compares the two using our own catalog. We audit the offer, meaning the sales page and the order form. We have not bought or used any of the products, and the platform rules below come from pages we loaded.
Who do you actually pay on each platform?
You pay the platform. On Digistore24 the company states that you buy from Digistore24; on ClickBank, 725 of our 729 reviews list Click Sales, Inc. (ClickBank) as merchant of record on the order form.
Digistore24's buyer page says it takes care of invoicing, customer service and integration with payment providers, and that the order confirmation email contains a link to the invoice, the payment plan and the support address. Our guide Is Digistore24 legit? goes through what that reseller model means.
ClickBank's support pages say a ClickBank purchase appears as CLKBANK on a bank statement, and that CLKBank.com is the customer service site where you can look up an order, request a refund, cancel a subscription or contact support. If a charge shows up and you do not recognize it, that is the first place to look.
How do refunds differ?
Digistore24 vendors pick a window of 14 to 180 days (60 to 180 on the Inc. entity); ClickBank says most products have 60 days. In our data, 365-day windows appear 92 times on ClickBank and 3 on Digistore24.
Digistore24's help page for vendors says the return period is set by the vendor. Offers sold through Digistore24 GmbH can use 14, 30, 60, 90 or 180 days, and offers sold through Digistore24 Inc. can use 60, 90 or 180. The same page says refund requests inside the window are processed, either by the vendor or by Digistore24.
ClickBank's refund article says most products have a refund period of sixty days, and that once the period has passed the refund button disappears and you must contact the seller directly. If you paid with PayPal, you can ask through CLKBank or through PayPal.
Our numbers match the pattern. Of 1,105 Digistore24-side offers with a stated window, 1,066 (96.5%) use 60 days. Of 726 ClickBank offers, 529 (72.9%) use 60 days, 92 use 365 days and 36 use 180. The step-by-step for the first platform is in our Digistore24 refund guide, and chargeback or refund explains why asking first is usually better.
Refund windows in our catalog, October 2026
- Digistore24 side (1,105 offers with a stated window): 60 days for 1,066, 14 days for 19, 90 days for 8, 180 days for 5, 30 days for 4, 365 days for 3.
- ClickBank (726 offers with a stated window): 60 days for 529, 365 days for 92, 180 days for 36, 90 days for 36, 30 days for 32, 14 days for 1.
- Example of a long window: Mindoxa offers 180 days on ClickBank, but its science and seller transparency are weak.
How do the offers on each platform compare?
ClickBank offers score lower on average (5.65 vs 6.08) and a larger share are a Pass (47% vs 32%). Both platforms are mixed, so you still have to judge each offer.
| Product | Category | Offer score | Price | Billing | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Living With An English Bull Terrier | Pets | 8.0/10 | $3 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| Fluxactive Complete | Health & Fitness | 6.7/10 | $88.95 | One-time payment, 1 to 6 bottles | Worth it |
| Mindoxa | Health & Fitness | 5.7/10 | $167.95 | One-time payment, 2 to 6 bottles | Pass |
| Universe Masterkey | Spirituality | 3.3/10 | $39 | One-time payment | Pass |
| 24 Menus from Madeira: A Culinary Journey with 72 Recipes | Cooking | 8.3/10 | EUR 19.80 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| Contract Aura | Software & Tech | 8.2/10 | $64 | One-time payment, free updates | Worth it |
We compared the 1,191 offers with no ClickBank vendor ID to the 729 with one. The Digistore24 side has 120 Worth it, 693 Worth a look and 378 Pass. ClickBank has 104 Worth it, 284 Worth a look and 341 Pass. Note that ClickBank has a higher share of Worth it (14.3% vs 10.1%), so it is not simply worse; it is more spread out.
The mix of products explains part of the gap. Spirituality and manifestation is 23.2% of ClickBank offers but 2.4% of the Digistore24 side, and physical products are 25.2% against 11.2%. Good offers exist on both sides: 24 Menus from Madeira and Contract Aura are Digistore24 offers that scored 8.3 and 8.2, while Living With An English Bull Terrier is a ClickBank offer that scored 8.0 and Fluxactive Complete reached 6.7. At the other end, Universe Masterkey on ClickBank scored 3.3 with no description of the product on its page. Our niche scores article shows that spirituality and health are the weakest niches.
Where is the biggest gap between the two?
Claims. 368 of 729 ClickBank offers (50.5%) score below 4 on claim discipline, against 209 of 1,191 (17.5%) on the Digistore24 side. Pricing honesty also differs, 6.4 vs 8.0 on average.
Claim discipline measures whether a page's promises stay inside what it can show. A health page that cites studies it does not name loses points; so does an earnings promise with no proof. ClickBank offers lose more of them, and supplements and manifestation products make up a large share of the ClickBank side.
Pricing honesty is the other gap. ClickBank orders often come in multi-bottle kits with shipping, so the price on the page and the total on the form can differ, and 43 ClickBank offers (5.9%) start billing as a subscription against 18 (1.5%) on the Digistore24 side. Our guide to multi-bottle supplement bundles shows what to compare.
Where do you go for support and cancellations?
On ClickBank, go to CLKBank.com. On Digistore24, use your order confirmation page or email, and the Find My Order page if you lost it.
ClickBank's article says you enter the email used at purchase plus another identifier such as an order number or the last four card digits, verify through a code, and then request a refund or cancel a subscription from the order page.
Digistore24's buyer page says the order confirmation email links to an order page with the invoice and details, and that you can search for an order on its Find My Order page. Our guide on canceling a Digistore24 subscription covers the steps. One more difference in our data: 184 Digistore24 offers have no sales page at all, only an order form, and none of the ClickBank offers do; see offers without a sales page.
What should you do before buying on either platform?
Check the order form total, the refund window on the form and the seller's name, then save the order confirmation. The platform helps after the sale; it does not vet the product.
Checklist
- Open the order form and write down the total, including shipping and tax.
- Compare the refund window on the form with the one on the sales page.
- Look up who the seller is: a company name, address and contact beat a bare account handle.
- Save the order confirmation and note the date the refund window ends.
- Read our methodology to see how we score each point.
Neither platform's presence tells you whether an offer is good. Use the same checks on both.
