Which Digistore24 Categories Charge a Subscription? 73 Offers, Counted

Which Digistore24 product categories charge a subscription?

Mostly trading and software. As of October 2026, 13 of 49 trading offers and 17 of 111 software offers in our catalog recur, versus 73 of 1,920 overall.

We read the billing line of every one of the 1920 offers we have audited and counted the ones that charge again after the first payment. An offer counts as recurring when the order form says subscription or recurring, or names a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly charge. 73 offers meet that test. The other 1,847 are one-time purchases.

So the safe default is a single charge. The risk sits in a few categories, and in a few offers that do not look like subscriptions on the sales page. How we score billing is explained on our methodology page, and the full one-time versus recurring comparison is in our score gap study.

We audit the sales page and order form. We did not buy or use any of these products.

Why are trading and software so subscription-heavy?

Because they sell ongoing services: signals, tips, dashboards, hosting and licences. A recurring fee fits something the vendor keeps running; it fits a finished ebook much less.

Offers mentioned in this section
ProductCategoryOffer scorePriceBillingVerdict
Red Dragon Sports Tipping (Silver Package) Trading 7.1/10 $6.36 Subscription: $6.36 now, then $6.36 per week Worth it
Z Code System VIP Club Trading 4.9/10 $198 Subscription: $198 now, then $198 per month Pass
Air Radar Premium (AI market analysis subscription) Trading 5.1/10 $7 Subscription: $7 now, then $99 per month Worth a look
Writelytic Software & Tech 6.9/10 $29 Subscription: $29 per month Worth a look
Annual Pro (2500 gen/year) Software & Tech 6.9/10 $499 Subscription: $499 per year Worth a look
TubeMagic (Early Access) Software & Tech 6.2/10 $47 Subscription: $47 per month plus sales tax Pass

Trading and software together are 160 of our 1,920 offers (8.3%), yet they hold 30 of the 73 recurring ones (41.1%). Many of the trading cases are tip services and signal feeds, for example Red Dragon Sports Tipping at $6.36 per week and Z Code System VIP Club at $198 now and $198 per month.

Software is similar: Writelytic charges $29 per month and Annual Pro $499 per year. When a vendor hosts something for you, a repeat fee is normal and not a red flag by itself.

It is also where the better recurring offers are. Of the 30 recurring trading and software offers, 8 earned a recommendation, while only 2 of the 43 recurring offers in other categories did. For a wider look at that niche see our guide to trading indicators and signal apps.

Which categories have no recurring offers at all?

Seven of our 19 categories have none as of October 2026: survival, cooking and recipes, pets, home and garden, music and audio, politics and economics, and legal and immigration.

Survival alone has 80 offers, cooking 42, home and garden 26 and pets 19, and every one of them charges once. These are mostly guides, plans and ebooks, and they are the easiest place to buy without a billing surprise.

A zero here is a count of what we reviewed, not a promise about every product on the platform. A new offer in these niches could still bill monthly, so the order form is the thing to read. Browse a quiet niche like pets or survival and you will see single prices throughout.

How do recurring offers hide the repeat charge?

Often with a small first payment. At least 19 of the 73 open with a trial or a first charge below the repeating amount, such as $1 now and then $47 a month.

Paid Online Jobs Writing charges $1 now, then $47 every month. Air Radar Premium charges $7 now and $99 per month after. Reading Head Start is $1 now and $37 per month.

Some go further. 7 Day Prayer Miracle says one-time payment on its page, but a pre-checked box leads to a cart that charges $27 today and $37 every month after 30 free days. Make Small Talk Sexy bills $27 now and $27.97 a month for 8 months, and none of that appears on its sales page.

Our guide to subscriptions that look like one-time purchases covers more of these patterns.

What about one-time offers that add a monthly option?

Twelve more offers show a one-time headline price plus a monthly plan, club or instalment option. We do not count them as recurring, but you can end up paying monthly by accident.

The Bonding Stages is a one-time payment plus a pre-checked $39 per month club add-on. The Passion Phrases is $48 once plus a pre-ticked club at $37 per month. Modern Relationships for Women adds a membership at $7.95 per month by default.

Of these 12, 9 are rated Caution and 3 are a Pass. The pattern is a pre-checked box, so read every checkbox before you pay, as we explain in pre-ticked add-ons and order bumps.

Does the word membership mean you will be billed monthly?

No. Of the 15 offers in our data with membership, club or VIP in the name, 4 bill once, so the label proves nothing either way.

Wealth Manifest is listed on the cart as a VIP Membership, yet the order form charges $39.99 once. The reverse also happens: the product name sounds like a one-time course while the form sets up a plan, as with 30-Minute Online Coaching Session, which charges EUR 50 first and then EUR 20 every month until cancelled.

Only the payment line tells you, so read the payment line rather than the product name.

How do recurring offers score, and how do you stop one?

Recurring offers split into 10 recommended, 35 Caution and 28 Pass. Digistore24 says private buyers can usually cancel online with the order ID, but terms vary by offer.

The 73 recurring offers average 5.54 out of 10 against 5.91 for the whole catalog. Our verdict guide explains the labels. Weekly and quarterly plans are rare: 60 recurring offers bill monthly, 7 yearly, 4 every three months and 2 weekly.

On the Digistore24 help page we loaded, private buyers can in most cases cancel on the cancel page by entering the order ID and an email or last name. The page also warns that terms vary: some payment plans are not cancellable and end only after the period agreed at purchase, and business buyers must contact support. Our step-by-step guide to cancelling a Digistore24 subscription walks through it.

What should you check before paying?

Read the payment line on the order form, add up every payment, and look for pre-checked boxes. Save your order ID so you can cancel without hunting for it.

Before you click pay

  1. Find the words month, week, year, every or then on the order form.
  2. Add the first payment and all later ones. A $1 start can be $47 a month.
  3. Untick any pre-checked club or membership box you did not choose.
  4. Note the date of the first repeat charge if there is a trial.
  5. Keep the order confirmation email with your order ID.
