Scavenger Hunt Osnabrueck: Peace Riders Review: Worth It?

How we assessed this

This is an offer review, not a hands-on test. On 14 October 2026 we read the vendor's sales page and opened the Digistore24 order form for product 747637, and recorded the price, the billing model, the delivery method and the refund terms exactly as shown. We have not purchased or used this product, and we say so rather than inventing an experience. The score rates the offer on seven things we can verify: offer clarity, value for money, pricing honesty, delivery and access, refund terms, vendor transparency and claim discipline. Two of them act as floors as well as scores: if a seller will not say what the product is, or who is behind it, the review cannot come out green no matter how clean the checkout is.

Scavenger Hunt Osnabrueck: Peace Riders (End of Terror) at a glance

This Hint-Caching title is a digital game access, not a physical product. The seller says you take the role of secretaries to the emperor's envoy at the 1645 peace negotiations in Osnabrueck, with the aim of helping the talks succeed. You start at the entrance of the palace and walk between the Buck Tower, the Buergergehorsam tower, the theatre and the palace, ending near the Carolinum-Gymnasium. The seller lists 17 puzzle stations with tasks at landmarks and information boards, three graded hints, and a built-in stopwatch. The game runs as web pages on your phone with no app, is in English (there is a German edition), and is valid for one year from purchase. Checkout is on Digistore24.

Format: Self-guided smartphone web-app game
Location: Osnabrueck old town, start at the palace entrance

Group size: 2 to 6 players per access
Duration: About 2 to 3 hours, pausable
Puzzle stations: 17, with three hints each (seller's figures)
Price: EUR 49.00 on the order form; 29 euros with a discount code on the page

What the seller says you get

You get login details by email, then start the story on arriving at the palace entrance. A map page with the stations is reachable by link or QR code, so a second device can serve as navigation.

The seller says each station gives background on the sight, puzzles sit at the buildings, and the final puzzle ends the game. The language is English, with a separate German game.

Price check

The Digistore24 form shows EUR 49.00 for one access, with a quantity field for several groups. The page highlights 29 euros with a discount code and a month-end deadline that is generated by a script. We did not confirm how the code works at checkout.

The form states that this version of the order form is not public yet.

What we cannot verify

The comparison table says other providers use AI and uninteresting GPS points while this game is hand-researched, with more stations. These statements about competitors are the seller's. We did not play the game, and the three testimonials on the page are short and unattributed beyond first names.

Refund and seller

The terms give a 14-day withdrawal right and a flat 5 euro cancellation fee for wrong bookings. Since access is delivered digitally, ask how withdrawal works after login details are sent. The imprint names the operators and lists an Ingolstadt address and a VAT ID.
