4-Week Guitar Technique vs 30 Guitar Mistakes vs Flamenco Method

Two $29 courses and a $69 one, all rated Worth it. They solve different problems, and two of them give only 14 days to ask for a refund.

4-Week Guitar Technique vs 30 Guitar Mistakes vs Flamenco Method

Which guitar course fits which player?

Pick the technique course if your hands are the bottleneck, the mistakes course if you are self-taught, and the flamenco method only if you already play a little.

4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge Music & Audio 7.9/10 $29 One-time payment, unlimited access Worth it
30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them Music & Audio 7.7/10 $29 One-time payment Worth it
Flamenco Guitar Method Music & Audio 7.6/10 $69 One-time payment, unlimited access Worth it

All three are rated Worth it on our scale, so the choice is about fit, not quality. They solve three different problems: slow or sloppy technique, bad habits nobody has corrected, and a style (flamenco) that most teachers outside Spain do not offer.

The scores are close: 7.9 for the 4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge, 7.7 for 30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them and 7.6 for the Flamenco Guitar Method. A tenth of a point should not decide your purchase. The refund window and your current level should.

How do the three compare on price and refund?

Two cost $29 and one costs $69, all as a single payment. The refund window is the real difference: 14 days on two of them, 60 days on the order form of the third.

All three are one-time payments with no subscription on the order form. What differs is how long you have to change your mind, and that matters more than a $40 price gap.

Prices and refund windows as we recorded them, as of October 2026:

Price, access and refund at a glance

  • 4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge: $29, unlimited member-area access, 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • 30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them: $29, unlimited access after the 30 days, 60 days on the order form while the sales page says 14 days.
  • Flamenco Guitar Method: $69, unlimited member-area access, 14-day money-back guarantee.

Who is the 4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge for?

Players at any level whose technique holds them back more than their repertoire. It is exercises and homework, not songs.

It is a four-week classical guitar course with weekly homework, over two hours of video, two bonus lessons and a PDF workbook, taught by concert guitarist Yaroslava Ihnatenko. The left hand gets finger exercises, barre and hand synchronisation. The right hand gets apoyando and tirando, tone production and speed. We rated its level as beginner to advanced.

What earns the top score of the three is clarity: a named teacher with checkable credentials, a syllabus you can judge before paying, and no upsell on the order form. The weak spot is the 14-day refund window. Four weeks of homework do not fit inside 14 days, so start on the day you buy.

The sales page also shows the price as EUR 29 in one place and $29 in another. The Digistore24 order form for product 383385, opened on 23 August 2026, charged $29.00 once.

Who is 30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them for?

Self-taught guitarists, especially those learning from YouTube, who want someone to point out posture and technique errors they cannot see themselves.

The format is simple: 30 videos, one unlocked per day, each showing a common student mistake and how to fix it. At $29 that works out to about $0.97 per video. After the 30 days all videos stay available without a time limit, but only as streams.

The teacher is Norman Gänser of Guitarschool24 in Vienna, whose legal notice lists a phone number and an Austrian VAT number. That is the kind of seller transparency we score well.

Two things cost it points. The sales page shows $49 next to a $29 price, but the order form lists no higher price, so the saving is not real. And the page says 14 days for refunds while the order form, verified on 26 September 2026, grants 60. Trust the order form, and screenshot it before you pay.

Who is the Flamenco Guitar Method for?

Guitarists who already fret chords and pick cleanly and want flamenco technique taught in order. Complete beginners should start elsewhere.

It pairs a PDF ebook with scores and tabs against video tutorials covering rasgueado, golpe, picado, arpeggio, pulgar and tremolo. There are full pieces, a rumba solo bonus and a ten-step Malaguena breakdown, and the vendor describes it as more than a year of learning content.

At $69 it is the dearest of the three and the one with the most material. Our review notes two limits: the videos stream only on guitarschool24.com and cannot be downloaded, and the guarantee is 14 days. It also notes that no instructor is named on the checkout for this particular course.

It is rated Worth it because the scope is specific and the price is fair for a style that few teachers cover, not because it suits everyone.

What about the other guitar courses we reviewed?

Two more guitar courses are in the catalog, both rated Worth it: one for adult beginners and one for pentatonic playing.

Learn Guitar for Adult Beginners costs $96 for 140 video lessons and a 112-page PDF book from the same Guitarschool24 teacher, about $0.69 per lesson. It scores 7.6. Its page mentions both 14 and 60 refund days, and the US order form shows 60.

The Best Minor Pentatonic Guitar Course costs $97 on a ClickBank order form for 70-plus lessons, two workbooks and an app, taught by Adam Levine. It scores 6.6 because its $197 original price and $409 bonus value are not confirmed anywhere.

For a wider view of music offers, see our guide to music lessons and guitar courses and the music and audio category. Looking at another instrument, Pianoforall is the piano course in the same category, also rated Worth it.

What do all these courses have in common?

They stream. The three main courses sell access to a member area, not downloadable files, and the refund clock starts when you pay.

Streaming-only access is stated openly by the vendor, so it is not a hidden catch, but it matters if you practise somewhere without a signal. If you need offline files, none of these three fits.

The second shared trait is a sales page that disagrees with the order form on something small: a currency, a crossed-out price or a refund period. Our guide to money-back guarantees on the page versus the order form explains why the form is the document that counts.

We audit the offer, meaning the sales page and the order form. We did not buy or play any of these courses, so nothing here says how good the teaching is. Read how we score on the methodology page.

What should you do before buying?

Match the course to your level, check the refund window on the order form, and put the deadline in your calendar.

Before you pay

  1. Decide the problem: technique, bad habits or flamenco.
  2. Open the order form and read the refund period there, not on the sales page.
  3. Note the deadline: 14 days for the technique and flamenco courses.
  4. Check that streaming-only access works where you practise.
  5. Start the first lesson the same day you buy.

A short checklist keeps the purchase low risk, especially with a 14-day window.

Frequently asked questions

Which guitar course is best for a self-taught player?

30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them is aimed at self-taught guitarists, especially those learning from YouTube. It costs $29 and shows one common mistake and its fix per day for 30 days.

How much do these guitar courses cost?

As of October 2026 the 4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge and 30 Guitar Mistakes cost $29 each, and the Flamenco Guitar Method costs $69. All three are one-time payments.

What is the refund window for the 4-Week Guitar Technique Challenge?

The review records a 14-day money-back guarantee. That is shorter than the 60 days many Digistore24 vendors offer, so start the lessons right after buying.

Can I download the videos from these guitar courses?

No for these three. The vendor states the videos stream from a member area and cannot be downloaded, so you keep access to the platform rather than the files.

Is the Flamenco Guitar Method good for beginners?

Our review says it suits players who already play a little. Flamenco technique is demanding, and a complete beginner would be better served by a basic guitar course first.
