What a Money-Back Guarantee Really Covers on Digistore24 Offers
A refund window is a number plus conditions. Here is what the order form grants, where sales pages disagree, and how to read a guarantee before paying.
What does a money-back guarantee really cover?
It covers a refund of the purchase price if you ask within a stated number of days. The window and the conditions are what matter, and the order form is where they are fixed.
A guarantee is a promise from the seller, usually backed by the payment platform. It names a period, such as 60 days, and says you can ask for your money back inside it.
What it usually does not spell out is the fine print: whether opened or used products count, whether you must show you tried the method, or whether the seller can ask questions first. Those details sit in the seller's terms, not in a big badge on the page.
In our audits we record the refund window that the order form shows, because that is the number the platform enforces. We never bought or used these products, so we describe the offer as listed, not how a refund went for any buyer.
How long is the typical refund window?
Sixty days is by far the most common. Of 1,576 reviews that state a window in days, 1,342 show 60 days, as of October 2026.
We counted every review whose refund window begins with a number of days. The rest of the spread is small: 365 days in 94 reviews, 90 days in 42, 180 days in 40, 30 days in 35, 14 days in 20 and 0 days in 3.
The median is 60 days. That makes a 60-day window the baseline, not a special feature. A page that celebrates 60 days as a bonus is describing the normal case.
The outliers deserve a closer read. A window of 14 days is short next to the 60-day norm. A 365-day claim on a page is only worth something if the order form shows it too, which is the next question.
Windows in our catalog (as of October 2026)
- 60 days: 1,342 reviews
- 365 days: 94 reviews
- 90 days: 42 reviews
- 180 days: 40 reviews
- 30 days: 35 reviews
- 14 days: 20 reviews
- 0 days: 3 reviews
What if the sales page and the order form disagree?
Trust the order form. In 69 reviews the refund note gives two different day counts, and the form is the figure the checkout actually applies.
| Product | Category | Offer score | Price | Billing | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Instant AI Agency | Make Money Online | 6.8/10 | $14.40 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| 30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them | Music & Audio | 7.7/10 | $29 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| Money Surge Frequency | Spirituality | 3.9/10 | $29 | One-time payment | Pass |
| UX/UI Courses (Digital Download) | Software & Tech | 3.3/10 | $37 | One-time payment | Pass |
| Weight Loss Program (Pagewheel download) | Health & Fitness | 2.9/10 | EUR 11.00 | One-time payment of EUR 11 | Pass |
A sales page can say 365 days while the form shows 60. That gap is one of the clearest signals we find. Our guide on guarantee page versus order form explains how we read both.
The mismatch can also help the buyer. The page of The Instant AI Agency promises 30 days, but the form grants 60. 30 Guitar Mistakes and How to Fix Them lists 14 days on the page and 60 on the form.
More often it works against the buyer. Money Surge Frequency repeats a 365-day claim at least five times, while the form shows 60 days. UX/UI Courses (Digital Download) advertises 60 days but its form allows 14, and the Weight Loss Program does the same.
Across those 69 reviews, 29 ended as Pass, 28 as Worth a look and 12 as Worth it. A mismatch is a warning to read closer, but a clean product can still carry one loose line.
Does 'no questions asked' mean what it says?
Not by itself. It is marketing wording, and 152 of our reviews mention it, while the number of days on the form is the part we can verify.
The phrase sounds absolute, but it tells you nothing about the window, the product types covered or the steps to claim. Some sellers pair it with a conditional guarantee elsewhere on the page.
Million Dollar Replicator is an example of why we read both parts: the form shows 180 days, yet the page treats the guarantee as conditional.
Our rule is simple. We record what the order form grants and flag any page text that sets extra conditions. We do not repeat the sales page's tone as if it were a term.
What conditions should you look for?
Look for a start date, the type of product covered, any proof you must supply and who handles the refund. Missing detail is a flag, not a fact.
Physical goods and supplements raise extra questions. Liposomal Hair Renewal states 180 days including opened bottles on the sales page, which is the kind of explicit coverage we like to see written down.
Digital goods have a different problem: once downloaded, a seller may argue the product is used. That is why a guarantee that names downloads clearly beats one that only promises your money back with no details.
Questions to answer before you pay
- How many days does the order form show, and does it match the page?
- Does the seller say whether opened or downloaded items are covered?
- Is a reason or proof asked for, or can you simply request a refund?
- Who processes the refund: the platform or the seller?
- Is the offer a subscription, where cancelling and refunding are separate steps?
What does a clear guarantee look like?
A clear guarantee has one number, shown the same on the page and the form, with a named seller. Several of our top-rated cheap ebooks do exactly this.
| Product | Category | Offer score | Price | Billing | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Living With An English Bull Terrier | Pets | 8.0/10 | $3 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| Aligned Love Archetypes: 30-Day Connection Blueprint | Relationships | 7.9/10 | $37 | One-time payment | Worth it |
| The 10-Ingredient Party Bar | Cooking | 7.7/10 | $37 | One-time payment | Worth it |
Living With An English Bull Terrier is a $3 ebook with a 60-day window on the order form, plus a personal refund promise from the authors on top. It scored 8.0 and received a Worth it verdict.
Aligned Love Archetypes: 30-Day Connection Blueprint charges $37.00 once and allows 60 days. The 10-Ingredient Party Bar costs $37 and also lists 60 days on the form.
The pattern is boring in a good way: the price matches, the window is stated once, and nothing on the page contradicts the form. You can see how verdicts are built on our methodology page.
What if a refund request is refused?
Start with the platform's support, keep your order confirmation and read the seller's stated terms. A guarantee helps only if you use it inside the window.
Our guides cover the next steps in more detail: the Digistore24 refund guide explains how to ask, and chargeback versus refund explains why a card dispute is a different route with different risks.
Because we do not buy or use products, we cannot say how fast any seller pays out. We can only tell you what the offer promises and where its terms disagree with each other.
What should you do before you pay?
Screenshot the order form, note the window in days, and compare it with the page. If the numbers differ, treat the lower one as the real one.
Spend two minutes on the checkout. It is the cheapest protection you have.
A short pre-purchase checklist
- Read the refund line on the order form, not the badge on the page.
- Save a screenshot and your confirmation email.
- Set a reminder two weeks before the window ends.
- Check whether the offer is a one-time payment or recurring.
- Look at the seller name and the support route before you buy.
Frequently asked questions
How long is a typical money-back guarantee on Digistore24 offers?
Sixty days is the most common. In our catalog as of October 2026, 1,342 of 1,576 reviews with a stated window in days show 60 days, which is about 85%.
Is the sales page guarantee or the order form binding?
The order form shows the window the checkout applies, so we record that figure. If the page promises more, ask the seller to confirm it in writing before paying.
Does 'no questions asked' mean there are no conditions?
No. It is wording, not a term. Check the number of days on the order form and read the seller's terms for conditions about opened or used products.
Does a long guarantee make an offer safe?
No. A 365-day claim is worth nothing if the form shows 60. In our catalog, 29 of the 69 reviews with two different day counts received a Pass verdict.
Can I get a refund on a digital download?
Many offers say yes within the window, but some sellers argue downloaded items are used. Look for wording that names downloads, and keep your proof of purchase.
