Supplement Upsell Ladders: How 1, 2, 3 and 6 Bottle Prices Work
In 64 supplement order forms the 6-bottle kit was cheaper per bottle every time. Here is the typical ladder, the free-bottle labels and the shipping lines.
How do supplement upsell ladders work?
The order form offers several kit sizes, usually 1 or 2 bottles, 3 bottles and 6 bottles, and the price per bottle falls with each step. The biggest kit looks cheapest per bottle but costs the most overall.
We call this a ladder. The smallest rung often carries a shipping fee, while the larger rungs ship free, which makes the step up feel like a bargain. We audit the sales page and the Digistore24 or ClickBank order form. We have not bought or used any of these products, and we make no claim about whether they work.
Our catalog has 132 offers whose billing line mentions bottles. In 70 of them the order-form note gives both a 3-bottle and a 6-bottle option, and in 64 of those we could read both totals with a script. Everything below comes from those 64, as of October 2026.
What is the typical price per bottle at 1, 3 and 6 bottles?
At the median, the 3-bottle kit costs $59 a bottle and the 6-bottle kit costs $49 a bottle. The single bottle in the same forms usually costs more, and often adds a shipping fee.
| Product | Category | Offer score | Price | Billing | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BellyFlush | Health & Fitness | 7.3/10 | $59 | One-time payment, 1 to 6 bottles | Worth it |
| Cholibrium | Health & Fitness | 7.3/10 | $59 | One-time payment, 1 to 6 bottles | Worth it |
| Roll On Relief | Health & Fitness | 7.2/10 | $48.95 | One-time payment, 1 to 6 bottles | Worth a look |
| Vitrafoxin | Health & Fitness | 4.3/10 | $83.95 | One-time payment, 1 to 6 bottles | Pass |
| DentaVive | Health & Fitness | 3.9/10 | $137.99 | One-time payment, 2 to 6 bottles | Pass |
| Leptozan | Health & Fitness | 4.3/10 | $177.95 | One-time payment, 2 to 6 bottles | Pass |
The 3-bottle total is $177 in 26 of the 64 offers ($59 a bottle), $207 in 13 ($69) and $147 in 7 ($49). The 6-bottle total is $294 in 44 offers ($49 a bottle) and $234 in 13 ($39). The 6-bottle price per bottle ranges from $29.00 to $66.65, and the median 6-bottle price per bottle is about 79% of the 3-bottle one.
Vitrafoxin shows a typical ladder: $69.00 plus $14.95 shipping for one bottle ($83.95), $177.00 for three ($59 each) and $294.00 for six ($49 each), both with free shipping. DentaVive starts at 2 bottles for $137.99, then $186.99 for 3 and $294.00 for 6.
Does a bigger kit always mean a better deal?
Not by price alone. A lower price per bottle only helps if you need that many bottles, and the six-bottle price is the same $294 across many unrelated brands.
BellyFlush and Cholibrium both charge $59 for one bottle and $147 for three, then diverge at six: $198 for BellyFlush and $234 for Cholibrium. Both order forms match the sales page, and both scored 7.3 with a Worth it verdict.
In contrast, the three offers with the lowest scores among our six examples, Leptozan, Vitrafoxin and DentaVive, score 4.3, 4.3 and 3.9. Their ladders look similar to the better-scoring ones. The ladder is a pricing format, not a quality signal.
What the 64 ladders show
- All 64 offer a lower price per bottle at 6 bottles than at 3.
- 24 of the 64 have no single-bottle option, with 2 bottles as the smallest purchase.
- 59 of the 64 order-form notes mention free shipping on at least one tier.
- Only 3 of the 64 earned Worth it; 32 got Worth a look and 29 got Pass.
What do buy 2 get 1 free labels mean?
They are a way to present a bundle price as a gift. The total on the order form is what leaves your account, so compare that total divided by the bottles shipped.
Roll On Relief is a topical roll-on, not a capsule, but its form uses the pattern. One bottle is $39.00 plus $9.95 shipping ($48.95). Two bottles labelled "buy 2 get 1 free" total $77.95 with shipping, and four labelled "buy 4 get 2 free" total $116.00 with free shipping. Taken at face value, that is about $25.98 per bottle for three and $19.33 for six.
The same review notes that a separate order-form template, triggered as a post-decline upsell, offers a $29-a-month subscription for the single bottle. Bazopril has a separate buy 2 get 1 free cart with only a 60-day refund window, shorter than the 365 days on its other bundles. Our guide on free-bottle offers and auto-ship clubs covers the subscription risk, and multi-bottle supplement bundles explains the bundle math.
What about shipping lines and crossed-out prices?
Shipping is usually charged on the smallest kit and waived on larger ones, and crossed-out prices on the sales page often do not appear on the order form at all.
Vitrafoxin charges $14.95 shipping on one bottle and nothing on three or six. Leptozan's cheapest order is 2 bottles at $177.95, which includes $19.95 shipping. The page also shows crossed-out prices ($358 down to $158 for 2 bottles, $1074 down to $294 for 6) that have no stated basis in the review.
A shipping-protection add-on or similar extra may be offered separately and is not part of these totals. See sales tax and shipping at checkout and crossed-out prices and anchor values for how to read these lines.
Should you buy the biggest kit?
Buy the smallest kit that lets you judge the offer, and read the refund window first. For any health concern, talk to a doctor or pharmacist before spending on a six-month supply.
We do not give medical advice and we do not assess whether any supplement works. A 6-bottle kit locks in months of spend before you know whether you want to continue. The refund window in these notes ranges from 60 to 365 days, so check the exact figure on your own order form.
For what to look for on the page itself, read our supplement sales page red flags guide, browse the health and fitness category, and see how scores work on the methodology page.
What should you check before choosing a kit?
Divide each total by the bottles shipped, read the shipping line, find the refund window and look for a pre-ticked extra or a subscription offer.
Order-form checklist
- Divide each kit total by the number of bottles actually shipped.
- Note which kit has a shipping fee and which ships free.
- Find the refund window on the form, not just on the sales page.
- Check for pre-ticked add-ons and subscription offers (see pre-ticked add-ons and order bumps).
- Ask whether you need that many bottles, and speak to a doctor first if the product relates to a health condition.
Run these five checks on the order form before you click.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a 6-bottle supplement kit usually cost?
In 44 of the 64 order forms we parsed, a 6-bottle kit was $294, or $49 a bottle. In 13 it was $234, and the rest ranged from $174 to $399.90 (as of October 2026).
Is the 6-bottle kit always the cheapest per bottle?
In all 64 order forms we parsed, yes, the 6-bottle kit was cheaper per bottle than the 3-bottle kit. It still has the highest total cost, so check the refund window.
What does buy 2 get 1 free mean on a supplement order form?
It is a label on a bundle with a fixed total price. Divide the total on the form by the number of bottles shipped to see the real price per bottle.
Do larger supplement kits come with free shipping?
Often. 59 of the 64 order-form notes mention free shipping on at least one tier, usually the larger kits, while the smallest kit often carries a shipping fee.
Does a big volume discount mean the supplement is good?
No. Both our best-scoring and lowest-scoring examples have similar ladders. We score the offer's clarity, honesty and seller, not whether a product works.
