How Does Worthorpass Make Money and Stay Independent?

We earn affiliate commissions and nothing else. Scores are set before links are added, and 719 of 1,920 reviewed offers are a Pass. Here is how it works.

How Does Worthorpass Make Money and Stay Independent?

How does Worthorpass make money?

Through affiliate commissions, and nothing else. When you buy through a link on this site, Digistore24 pays Worthorpass a share of the sale and you pay the same price you would pay going direct.

Worthorpass reviews digital products sold on Digistore24 and takes part in its affiliate program. That is the whole business model. There are no paid placements, no sponsored scores and no fee from vendors to be reviewed.

A commission model has an obvious conflict of interest: a site that earns when you buy has a reason to say yes. The rest of this guide explains the rules that limit that conflict and the data that lets you check them.

Does the commission make the product cost more?

No. The price on the Digistore24 order form is the vendor's price, and the commission is paid out of the vendor's margin rather than added on top.

We explain the mechanics, including how affiliate links are built, in does using an affiliate link make a product cost more. The practical test is simple: the order form shows the total before you pay, and the checkout is run by Digistore24, which is the seller of record for the offers we review.

Our own review of each order form is where price differences show up, for example a voucher button that changes the total or VAT that applies in some countries. That is a finding about the offer, not about the link.

Does the commission change a score?

No. Scores are set before affiliate links are added to a page, using seven criteria, and the commission rate is not an input to any of them.

Every offer gets seven sub-scores out of 10, and the score is their plain average. The criteria are offer clarity, value for money, refund terms, pricing honesty, delivery and access, vendor transparency and claim discipline. They are laid out on the methodology page and in the seven criteria explained.

Nothing in that list asks what the vendor pays. A higher commission has not raised a score. The verdict labels, Worth it, Worth a look and Pass, are explained in what our verdicts mean.

Why do so many offers score badly?

Because the commission does not shape the score. As of October 2026, 719 of 1,920 reviewed offers (37.4%) are Pass, and 224 (11.7%) are Worth it.

Offers mentioned in this section
ProductCategoryOffer scorePriceBillingVerdict
UX/UI Courses (Digital Download) Software & Tech 3.3/10 $37 One-time payment Pass
Universe Masterkey Spirituality 3.3/10 $39 One-time payment Pass
Weight Loss Program (Pagewheel download) Health & Fitness 2.9/10 EUR 11.00 One-time payment of EUR 11 Pass
Custom Microbiome-Based Supplement Formula (Pagewheel listing) Health & Fitness 3.4/10 $158 One-time payment Pass
We Give You a Sales Page and Help You Promote It (Digital Download) Make Money Online 3.5/10 $13 One-time payment Pass

A site that only wanted sales would not publish the bottom of its catalog. Pass offers keep their review, their score and their link, which is the strongest evidence that the verdict is not for sale. The average score across the catalog is 5.91, and the lowest is 2.9.

The reasons are mostly about disclosure. The median vendor transparency score is 4.0 out of 10, since many sellers do not say who they are. Examples from the Pass end: UX/UI Courses (Digital Download) scores 3.3 because its page promises a 60-day guarantee while the order form gives 14 days. Universe Masterkey scores 3.3 with no description and no seller named. Weight Loss Program (Pagewheel download) scores 2.9 and never says what it contains. A $158 custom supplement listing that admits it ships nothing scores 3.4, and a $13 download titled as if it included a sales page and promotion scores 3.5. At the other end, 24 Menus from Madeira scores 8.3 under the same rules.

What rules keep reviews independent?

Published rules: no paid scores, no review removed at a vendor's request, no copied sales copy, and a dated check on every review.

The site states what it will not do, and you can hold it to that.

What Worthorpass says it does not do

  • Accept payment, free access or a higher commission in exchange for a better score or ranking
  • Remove a review because a vendor asked
  • Invent testimonials or fabricate screenshots of results
  • Publish income figures or win rates as fact when the only source is the vendor
  • Copy a vendor's sales copy and call it a review

What does independence not mean?

It does not mean the scores measure whether a product works. We score the offer: what the sales page and order form say, charge and promise.

We have not bought or used these products. Each review has a box headed "How we assessed this" with what was checked and when. Prices and refund windows change, so every review is dated, and corrections of fact are made whoever reports them.

A good score means the offer is clear and honestly priced. It is still worth reading the review for the cons before you pay.

What should you do next?

Read the review's cons and sub-scores before you click through, and open the order form to confirm the price yourself.

A short checklist

  1. Check the verified date on the review; older checks may be out of date.
  2. Read all seven sub-scores, not just the verdict.
  3. Confirm price, billing and refund window on the Digistore24 order form.
  4. Check who the seller is before paying.
  5. If a fact looks wrong, send a correction with the evidence.

If you disagree with a score, the sub-scores show where. If we got a fact wrong, tell us.

Frequently asked questions

How does Worthorpass make money?

Only through affiliate commissions. When a reader buys via a link on the site, Digistore24 pays Worthorpass a share of the sale at no extra cost to the reader.

Does Worthorpass get paid more for a better review?

No. Scores are set before affiliate links are added, and the commission rate is not an input to any of the seven criteria.

Is Worthorpass owned by Digistore24?

No. It is an independent publisher using the Digistore24 affiliate program and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Digistore24 GmbH.

Can a vendor have a review changed or removed?

Not for a low score. A vendor can send evidence of a factual error, and the page is corrected and re-dated. A review is not removed because a vendor asked.

Do you test the products you score?

No. The score rates the offer, meaning what the sales page and the Digistore24 order form say, charge and promise, not whether the product delivers its result.
