Check before you buy. A template is useless without the right software or plan.

ExpertSlides Pro Plan is an add-in for PowerPoint 365. If you use an older version of Office, confirm compatibility before paying.
2. Is it worth more than a free template?
It depends on your own spreadsheet skills.
Free budget templates exist, and our review of the Dynamic Budget Planner says so. Its case is that working formulas save setup time and reduce errors for someone less comfortable with spreadsheets. It is rated Worth it, although no refund window is confirmed on the order form.
If you can build a sheet with SUM and a pivot table, a paid template buys you little. If you cannot, $39.99 may be cheaper than a weekend of trial and error.

Files are usually one-off. Add-ins and software often renew.
