Digistore24 Pricing Tricks: 7 Checkout Patterns We Found
A $0.00 total that costs $149.94. A $1 trial that becomes $47 a month. Seven pricing patterns we documented on real Digistore24 order forms, and how to beat each one.
Where do these examples come from?
From our own reviews. For each of the 378 Digistore24 offers on Worthorpass we opened the vendor's sales page and the order form and recorded the price, billing, cart and refund terms exactly as shown.
Pricing honesty is one of the seven criteria behind every offer score. When the price you see is not the price you pay, that sub-score drops, and the review says why. The patterns below are the ones that cost a score the most. Prices were recorded between August and September 2026 and vendors can change them at any time.
1. What is a $0.00 checkout that bills later?
An order form whose Total reads $0.00 or close to it, with the real cost split into later payments listed underneath.
7 FIGURE MASTERY shows a total of $0.00 and then six monthly payments of $24.99. The product costs $149.94. It is presented at the moment of purchase as free.
How to beat it: ignore the Total and add up every payment the order form lists before you enter a card.
2. How does a $1 trial become a monthly bill?
The first charge is symbolic, and a much larger recurring charge starts a few days later unless you cancel.
Paid Online Jobs Writing charges $1.00 today and $47.00 every month starting three days later. A year of that is about $565, for a product whose checkout total said one dollar.

3. When is a one-time price actually a subscription?
When the order form repeats the amount with a period after a plus sign, such as "$26.00 + $26.00 monthly".
Tradbook Pro Multi-Profile is sold at $26, and the order form reads $26 plus $26 monthly. The Food Analysis Tool is $87 plus $87 every year. The Supply and Demand Indicator is $49 plus $49 a month, while its sales page shows other prices.
How to beat it: search the order form for the words monthly, yearly and payments before you pay.
4. What is a pre-filled cart?
An order form that opens with more than one product or a membership already added, so the Total covers things you never chose.
The Software Testing Course link opens with three courses and a $467 total. Two of them appear at $200 each, yet they sell alone for $27 each. Modern Relationships for Women adds a $7.95 monthly membership to a $61.08 course by default.
How to beat it: count the line items. One product in your head should mean one product in the cart.
5. Is a struck-through price a real discount?
Only if someone was ever charged that price. Many are anchors: a big number printed to make the real price feel small.
BurnTide shows $447 crossed out beside $177, then adds $19.90 shipping for a real total of $196.90. All Day Slimming Tea prints a regular price of $99 beside $69. T-shirt Typography Printing Designs shows $14.99 struck through next to $4.99.
How to beat it: judge the price you pay against similar products, never against the crossed-out number.
6. What if the checkout charges more than the sales page?
Then the advertised price is not real for you, and you should not pay the difference.
The Women's Hormone Blueprint advertises $44.99 and claims you save $27. We applied the vendor's own voucher, BUNDLE27, on the order form and the total stayed at $71.99.
The reverse also happens, which is why this is worth checking in both directions. Pinterest Passive Income is $27 through the vendor's button and $97 on a bare checkout link, because the button carries a voucher.
7. What is a "value" price built into the product name?
A large package value, often in the title or the bonus list, that no buyer ever pays and that frequently does not add up.
Passive Income System 2.0 costs $997 and carries "($48,797 Value)" in its own product name. Millionaire Partner System is $1,997 against a comparison value of $127,149.
Smaller guides do it too. One publisher behind Canva Cash Machine and Social Media Flipping prints a total package value of $347 on each guide, and in most of them the listed components do not sum to $347.
How to beat it: a stated value is marketing, not a price. Ask what you would pay for the parts separately.
Do honest checkouts exist on Digistore24?
Yes, and they are the majority. Most offers we review charge one clear amount with no recurring line.

Frequently asked questions
Are these pricing tricks illegal?
We do not give legal advice, and in most of these cases the terms are shown on the order form. That is exactly why reading the whole order form matters: disclosure only protects you if you read it.
I already paid for a subscription I did not expect. What now?
Cancel it right away so no further payments are taken, then ask Digistore24 support for a refund, stating clearly that you want your money back. Both processes are explained in our refund and cancellation guides.

Yes. Pricing honesty is one of the seven criteria in every offer score, and it drops when the advertised price and the charged price do not match or when billing is recurring in a way that is easy to miss.
